The Creighton Model Fertility care system (CrMS) is a fertility system based off Natural Family Planning. The services are based upon a Christian context following the ethics of marriage and family found within Scripture as the foundation for approach, however these approaches are open to all clients regardless of religious faiths or spiritual affiliations.
The CrMS invites both male and female partners to observe and chart certain biomarkers to either achieve or avoid pregnancy.
A study showed that of 50 clients following the CrMS, 38 (76%) achieved pregnancy in the first cycle, 45 (90%) achieved pregnancy by the third cycle and 49 (98%) achieved pregnancy by the sixth cycle. If necessary, a client may need referral to a NaPro Technician for further structural alignment or medical interventions.
According to the Pope Paul VI Institute in America, the success rate of pregnancy from NaProTechnology as opposed to IVF treatments are as follows.
In the case of endometriosis: 56 - 76% versus 21.2%; Tubal occlusion: 38.4% versus 27.2%; Polycystic ovaries: 62 - 80% versus 25%. A cycle of IVF treatment can cost from $10,000 to $20,000 with the success rate being 15-30% per cycle. Therefore, a couple can expect anywhere between 3 - 6 cycles, equating the total cost between $30,000 - $120,000. On the other hand, the cost of NaPro in general is less than $10,000. Once fertility is restored through NaPro, couples can achieve pregnancy much easier.
Additionally, children conceived through IVF are at significant risk of being infertile themselves. This is not the case with children conceived with the use of NaPro.
