cleaning at night is my favorite time to clean! I'm a night owl to the highest degree! 🦉 these two are currently in the diffuser--washing clothes, dishwasher is running, vacuuming, laying out this new kitchen rug, watching some Grey's Anatomy and doing what I love most... all the homemaking things!
Sooo easy, delicious and nutritious. This was my easy breakfast this morning, followed by a cup of Sage tea 👌🏻 This is simply cooked silverbeet (2 large leaves + stems) and some mushrooms lightly fried in organic extra virgin olive oil, then combined and sprinkled with organic garlic powder 🍄 🌱Silverbeet has such high levels of magnesium, calcium, vitamin k, iron, potassium, vitamin c, are rich in fibre and vitamin e.
leafy greens truly are a powerhouse. 🍄Mushrooms are a valuable source of protein, dietary fibre, and vitamins. Mushrooms are also one of a few non-animal sources of vitamin B12 🙌🏻
The progression of tonight's macro bowl 😋 this bowl hit all the right spots with a homemade tahini turmeric dressing, herb greens, cabbage, raddish, roasted chickpeas, Brussels sprouts, carrots, and a fried egg. I am so satisfied! I carried on a low carb strict Paleo diet for the better part of three years and have sense learned to live life with less restrictions and fueling myself with foods that make me feel my best. Most my meals revolve around meat, and although I don't see that changing, I believe it's important to experiment with different ways to feel your best and these days I've been testing out a few meatless meals a day. I don't need a foodie label, I eat what feels right to me 😋
