My dear friend, @upthedownstairs
, translates his pain to passion, creating exquisite, expressive works of art.
This used to be my form of expression as well, and until I met him, I think I was still too focused on moping that my brain wouldn't cooperate to create art in my familiar form. I was bitter, lost in feeling robbed of my expression. It wasn't until life fated me next to this kind soul that I started to learn how express ~through~ my struggle. To live in a way that relieves the pain and surrender soulfully to that rather than express longing for what used to feel good--that will come back in time. A change noted by the influx of yoga photos on my IG and still sitting in my photo cache and less spare time spent drawing.
This made it feel particularly great when he told me that my art inspired him to make his art ✨
Thank you, @upthedownstairs
, for the insight I haven't had the chance to tell you you've given me, and the pride in knowing I could assist any inspiration in creating one of your incredible pieces. ❤️❤️❤️
